WHERE I COME FROM
I grew up in Utah's 2nd oldest city, Bountiful. My family and I moved to East Salt Lake County about 15 years ago. I have 3 children that grew up in Holladay and a small zoo worth of pets. (Dogs, Cats, Birds, Fish & more)

I've worked for the same landscape business here in Salt Lake for over 25 years and have met so many amazing people! With 20 years managerial experience in a large corporation I've learned a great deal about helping people understand their individual impact on overarching goals and executing with successful long term performance.

Through multiple volunteer opportunities I've been blessed to work alongside some of the most successful and passionate leaders in our State. Through their examples, I've learned how important each contributor of a group is to a projects overall success. Leaders need to ensure nobody is excluded, even if they don't always agree with one another.

Now, more than ever, is the time for elected leaders to start finding the common ground.

Our country has been polarized for a long time and many legislators have built solid campaigns of fear and "uncompromising values". It's good to have values, and our friends & neighbors are often better off when they hold onto what they believe in. That said, personal belief should not over shadow the U.S. Constitution or Bill of Rights which is the legislative starting point.
When political extremism dominates the discussion, government gridlock occurs & everyone suffers.
A Community is made up of people from different walks of life working together to build a place that everyone can safely call home.
